How I work
Involving a designer is an extremely personal experience.
Every project is one-of-a-kind, just as every home and every client is unique. Whether you arrive with a clear vision or simply a starting point, my role is to listen, ask the right questions, and understand how you want to live within the space. Creative collaboration is key, leading to a more thoughtful and enveloping execution of your vision.
I don't believe in imposing a particular style. Instead, I focus on creating interiors that feel entirely personal to you and your home, weaving stories and emotions into every project.
My work combines aesthetics, craft and functionality, ensuring every design decision serves a purpose and creates spaces that inspire and enrich life.
Throughout the process, you'll work directly with me and my project manager. By the time installation begins, you'll understand every decision we've made together and feel confident in the direction of the project.
The Process
01/ First Conversation
We meet to look at your home and talk through how you use the space day to day. This can be in person or online, whichever suits you. You can bring images, sketches or just a rough idea of what you have in mind. By the end of it, we have a clear brief to work from.
02/ Design Development
The brief becomes a design: layout, materials, finishes and the details that hold it together. I present a proposal that shows the direction of the design, how it will function and how the project will run over time.
03/ Refinement
Once the design direction has been agreed, we refine the details together. Material samples, finishes, cabinetry details and bespoke elements are reviewed and adjusted where necessary until every aspect of the design feels right.
04/ Survey & Technical Design
Following a detailed site survey, technical drawings and specifications are prepared to guide production and installation. Nothing is left unresolved before the project moves into manufacturing.
05/ Production & Installation
Your bespoke joinery is produced by skilled craftspeople and installed with precision and care. I remain closely involved throughout the process to ensure the finished result meets the standards expected by both you and me.
06/ Ongoing Support
My involvement doesn't end on installation day. I remain available to provide maintenance advice and care guidance, and every project includes a two-year warranty.
