I never planned to become a kitchen designer.
When I first moved into the world of design, I imagined I'd become an interior designer. I was fascinated by how spaces shape the way we live and how thoughtful design can improve everyday life.
Over time, I realised the room I was most drawn to was the kitchen.
It's where architecture, craftsmanship, functionality and family life all come together. It's one of the most complex spaces to design well and one of the most rewarding.
Today, kitchens remain at the heart of my work, but I've never stopped thinking about the home as a whole.

Learning from the best
To immerse myself in the world of design, I moved to London, where I spent over a decade and a half working in the bespoke interiors industry.
My career began with a company specialising in exceptionally rare interior materials, where I developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the details that define truly beautiful spaces. From there, I went on to design bespoke residential projects, learning from some of the UK's leading kitchen and joinery studios.
All that experience and values are now condensed in roa.design.
Beyond the kitchen
Although kitchens are my speciality, I don't see them as standalone rooms.
The best kitchens belong to a home where every space feels connected. That's why I also design bespoke joinery, walk-in wardrobes and other built-in spaces that create a sense of continuity throughout the home.
Whether I'm designing a single room or contributing to a larger renovation, my goal is always the same: to create spaces that feel personal, timeless and effortless to live in.
